The astronomic zodiac enlisted as enlisted above consists of 28 IAU constellations. When we say one’s natal Sun is in Ophiuchus we are using this zodiac. Important events such as 9-11 bear their special mark. In the case of the WTC the Moon was in Orion. Usama bin Liden has been born with Moon in Orion. Orion is thus a zodiacal station, much as Ophiuchus. The zodiac enlisted can be also called Plutonian Zodiac. The basic or Neptunian zodiac has only 24 constellations. The discovery of a new planet such as Pluto can bring in new constellations such as Bootes. Pluto was in Coma Berenices during the seventies and in Bootes in the early eighties. Pluto is currently in Serpens constellation.

The astronomic ascendant for the U.S.A. is Serpens, while its ecliptic ascendant is Ophiuchus. The current set of eastern ascending constellations is 16 in number. Note that the set of ascending constellations tends to change due to precession. An ascending constellation is not necessarily zodiacal, thus heraldic Monoceros or Unicorn is not a zodiacal constellation, but it does rise in the east at this epoch.

In our example Alice is born on Aug 5th 2004 with Hydra ascending. The ascendant or eastern star is marked with an "E". E stands for East. The Moon is in Cetus, Mercury in Sextans, Venus in Orion, Juno in Scutum and of course Pluto in Serpens. This special child is intelligent and reserved. She will be hardly interested in superficialities and will dedicate her life to hermitage and spiritual purpose. Anyone forcing her into social frame is making a gross error. Already Juno in Scutum warrants chastity, much as in the case of Venus in Scutum. An expert scan of your natal skies leaves no place for superstition.
